Wondering if you can qualify for a scholarship or bursary? There's a financial award out there for just about everyone.  The eligibility criteria varies.  Academic achievement is not always mandatory for eligibility.  Often, students who participate in school or community activities can win scholarships based largely on their extra-curricular involvement.  Likewise, students with specific talents, hobbies, ethnic backgrounds, medical conditions or family affiliations can meet award qualifications.

  • Are you involved in athletics?  Do you belong to a sports club?
  • Do you have a medical condition of some kind?
  • Are you involved with a community-based organization?
  • Are you or your parents members of a union or financial institution?
  • Do you work part-time?

Many employers offer scholarship programs for their employees and their dependents.  Your best chance of getting a scholarship is from organizations or groups to which you (or your parents) belong.

Check out the database of over 500 scholarships and bursaries for Grade 12 students below. The database is sorted on Column 2 (Due Date).  The first two pages of the spreadsheet contain a variety of different organizations that offer multiple awards with various deadlines; thereafter the list of awards runs along school-year lines (ie: from September to June).  And finally, the last two pages contain scholarships that you can apply for after you graduate!

PLEASE NOTE:  closing dates vary from year to year so you must verify the application deadline date on the sponsor's website! Click the icons below for the scholarship catalogues.
